Terms & Conditions

The following Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings made on this website. You are advised to read them and check through the rate details before managing your online booking.


1. DEFINITIONS

“Company” or “we” means Green Windows Dormitel.

“You” or “guest' means the person doing the booking.

“Booking” means the booking for accommodation made with us.

“Contract” means the Booking and these Terms, and any other terms and conditions stated to apply to the Booking.

“Hotel” means the premises for which your Booking is made.

“Websites” means www.greenwindowshotel.com , the website you are managing your booking.

“Terms” means these terms and conditions, as stipulated below.


2. BOOKINGS

Bookings can be made online at www.greenwindowshotel.com, through email by

For online booking, you must follow the FIVE EASY STEPS;

1. Choose Check-in and Check-out Dates

2. Check for Room/s Availability

3. Agree with Terms and Conditions

4. Fill-in Personal Information

5. Pay through Credit Card


After a successful booking is completed,  Booking Confirmation Voucher(s) will be sent to the email address provided. We highly encourage you to produce your own Booking Confirmation Voucher (s) together with your original valid identification document, upon your arrival at the Hotel. If in any case, you fail to receive your Booking Confirmation Voucher(s) within twenty-four (24) hours after a successful booking, please contact us through the contact details shown in this website.

You are advised to have the certainty and the accuracy of your booking details (such guest personal information, stay dates, room types, room rates, number of guest, and add-on purchases). The Company will not be liable for the errors in your booking details. Guest name must be the person staying in the Hotel.


The Hotel also accepts walk-in booking(s), account(s) can be settled through cash payment(s). For easy check-in guest(s) are required to present valid proof of identification.


3. PAYMENT

For online booking, full payment must be made at the time of booking. We accept credit card payment through BPI SecurePay via your VISA / MASTERCARD.


For bookings made through our sales and reservation office, to guarantee your reservation(s), payment(s) can be addressed through the following details:

For walk-in booking(s), account(s) can be settled through cash payment(s). The Hotel strictly observes PAYMENT UPON CHECK-IN. Thus, guaranteed booking(s) and guest(s) check-in are offered to those who have settled their payment(s).


If you choose to pay upon your arrival:

Your room will not be guaranteed and will be held until 4 o'clock in the afternoon on the date of arrival. Failure to check-in during the holding time, the room will be immediately released and will be made available for other potential guests. Once your room is released, room will be subject for availability at the time of your check-in.


If you expect to arrive after 4 o'clock in the afternoon, you are advised to call the hotel to confirm your arrival to avoid cancellation of your reservation.


4. RATES AND CHARGES

Rates shown in the website are per room per night basis. Room rates are subject to change without prior notice. For clarity purposes, rates do not include any incidental cost, which you may acquire during your stay (e.g, additional mattress/ breakfast, mini-bar facilities, spoiled/ damage linen/ fixtures/furniture, and smoking charge(s).

Whether the damage was deliberate or accidental, you will be held liable for the added cost of your stay.  Charges will be accounted to you during departure and, in the event that you fail to pay any such charges, it is a condition of your contract with us that we have the authority to hold your departure.


5. ROOMS

Green Windows Dormitel rooms are classified into two (2),the Dorm type and the Hotel Types, specifications are described below:

DORM TYPES

• Dorm 4      : Double-decker beds; Good for 4 persons

• Dorm 6     : Double-decker beds; Good for 6 persons

• Dorm 8     : Double-decker beds; Good for 8 persons

• Dorm 10     : Double-decker beds; Good for 10 persons

• Dorm 12     : Double-decker beds; Good for 12 persons

• Dorm 14     : Double-decker beds; Good for 14 persons

• Dorm 16     : Double-decker beds; Good for 16 persons


HOTEL TYPES

• Standard King          : 1 Queen-size bed; Good for 2 persons

Double Standard          : 2 Single beds; Good for 2 persons

• Triple Standard          : 3 Single beds; Good for 3 persons

• Deluxe King          : 1 King-size bed; Good for 2 persons

• Deluxe Twin          : 2 King-size beds; Good for 4 persons

• Executive King          : 1 King-size bed; Good for 2 persons     

• Suite King               : 1 King-size bed; Good for 2 persons

• Family Room          : 3 King-size beds; Good for 6 persons


6. AMENITIES

Each room has the following facilities

• Air-condition, wifi-access, 32” LCD TV (for hotel types and some dorm types), telephone, hot and cold shower, safety               deposit box, mini-bar (for Executive Rooms), towels and toiletries.


On the other hand, the following are not available in the rooms:

• Room service,  extra bed


The Hotel also offers Optional Amenities/ Add-on purchases such as:

• Breakfast, extra mattress(es), extra towel(s)


7. BOOKING CHANGES / CANCELLATION POLICY

Payment(s) made for booking(s) and for additional purchase(s) is not refundable. If you have any changes with your booking(s) we encourage you to reschedule your reservation more than 72 hours from the date of arrival. A minimal amount of Php 500.00 per room will be charged to honor the rescheduling of the prior booking.

Rescheduled booking is valid within the next twelve (12) months, after the said duration its validity will expire.  Cancellation of a room reservation less than 72 hours prior to the arrival date, the Hotel will impose a 100% forfeiture of your prepayment in full.


8. NO SHOW POLICY

No-Show(s) apply to any guest(s) who does not appear on the reservation date of arrival, and who failed to provide a proper cancellation notification. The Hotel will impose a 100% forfeiture of your prepayment in full.


9. SHORTEN STAY POLICY

If guest shortens his stay, the company treats this similarly as change of booking and/or cancellation of stay. Thus, the Cancellation Policy is applied.


10. EXTENSION OF STAY

Extensions will require a new reservation for the additional date(s), subject to availability and prevailing rates, and are subject to a possible rate change. Please be advised that the above-mentioned instances are subject for the room/s availability. Thus, we highly recommend you to reserve the room prior to the extended length of stay.


11. CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT

Check-in time is 2:00 PM onwards. For early check-in request, early check-in fees will be applied depending on the requested time. However, it is subject to room  availability. Guest(s) will be provided with keycard intended for the reserved room(s). In accordance to keycard usage and room security deposit, an amount Php 500.00 shall be collected. Deposit will be given back upon the return of the keycard during check-out, provided that there is no damage or lost item inside the room.


Check-out time is on or before 12:00 PM. Extension of check-out time is subject to availability and will be charged as follows:

     

• Check-out extended till 4:00 PM will be charged at PHP 150.00 per hour.

• Check-out after 4:00 PM – before 6:00 PM will be charged half rate of the room.

• Check-out after 6:00 PM will be charged at 100% of the prevailing room rate.


12. SUPPLEMENTARY REQUEST

All supplementary or special requests are subject to availability and we cannot guarantee that the Hotel can provide such requests. Any supplementary requests should be made prior to your arrival (e.g. setting a separate registration corner, placing tarpaulins/ marketing collaterals and etc.)


13. NO SMOKING POLICY

In accordance to the city ordinance of Davao City,  no. 0367-12 , guests are not permitted to smoke in the rooms or in public areas. A maximum charge of Php 10,000 will be applied to the violators.


14. OTHER PROHIBITIONS

Aside from smoking, the following are also prohibited in the Hotel:

• Bringing of alcoholic beverage(s), fruits such as Marang and Durian, appliances/equipment for heating or cooking

  Charges will be imposed to the violators.


15. GUEST BEHAVIOR

As our valued guest, you are requested to act appropriately at all times and to abide with Company's procedures and/or requests with regards to proper conduct and respect for the property of the Hotel, the employees and other guests that would affect their health and safety.  Given these situations, the Hotel reserves the right to decline your stay if we proved that you are violating our contract. Thus, we held no obligation to refund you for any lost accommodation, or any other loss incurred.


16. RIGHT TO REFUSE GUEST ENTRY/ ACCOMMODATION

The Hotel reserves the right to refuse a guest(s) entry and accommodation based on the following grounds:

• Guest is under the influence of drink or drugs, behaving in a threatening, abusive manner, causing disturbance or annoying

  other guests and Hotel staff(s).  

• Fraudulent means of paying the booking, presenting tampered Booking Confirmation Voucher(s) or guest could not provide

  valid proof of identification to prove his/her identity as the person named in the Voucher.

• Guest who are found violating these Terms and Conditions.


17. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The Hotel is liable in providing guest(s) the room(s), other additional purchases, as reflected in the Booking Confirmation Voucher(s) or in the receipt, and as stated in these Terms and Conditions. In any case, the Company does not accept any accountability if there is any failure to provide the services agreed due to circumstances beyond our control such as typhoon, flood, natural disaster, fire, terrorist activity, or injuries and death through accidental conditions not related to the Hotel.

In no event shall Green Windows Dormitel be liable for any indirect lost/ damages or any damages which includes loss of profits or data, whether in an action in contract or tort, arising out of the use or performance of this website or its content or any third party providers of products or services related to this website.

Guests are advised not to leave any cash, jewelry, or any valuable items unattended. Guests may deposit their valuables at the Front Office for safekeeping. The Company will not be liable for the loss of any valuables.


18. DATA PROTECTION AND PRIVACY

The Hotel values your affinity to our website and to our Company. Indeed, we are grateful for your confidence in  us, and understand both the importance and the obligation to deal with your information with care, and protect that information from improper use and abuse.

By making a reservation with us either through this website, email or by calling the Hotel's call centers, you give us the consent that the information you have provided can be stored, processed, or utilized by us within the degree of this privacy policy collected for the following purposes:

• To manage your booking;

• To provide you customer service and support;

• To keep you informed of our promotions or other information that may be of interest to you;

• To continually enhance our service by conducting marketing research.


We may send notifications of new services or offers through your email address. However, you may also opt not to receive these notifications by informing us via email at: greenwindowsdormitel@gmail.com or reservations@greenwindowsdormitel.com.  


19. COOKIES

A cookie is a small file which asks permission to be places on your computer's hard drive. Once you agree, the file is added and the cookie helps analyze web traffic or lets you know when you visit a particular site. Cookies allow web applications to respond to you as an individual. The web application can tailor its operations to your needs, likes and dislikes by gathering and remembering information about your preference.

Cookies help us provide you with a better website by enabling us to monitor which pages are useful and which are not.  A cookie in no way gives us access to your computer or any information about you, other than the data you choose to share with us.

You can choose to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies. However, you can modify your browser setting to decline cookies. By doing so, this may prevent you from taking full advantage to the website.


20. GOVERNING LAWS

These terms of use and the relationship between the parties shall be governed by and the construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines without reference to its conflicts of law provisions. Any and all claims, causes of action, or disputes relating or pursuant to these Terms of Use shall be brought before the appropriate courts of the Republic of the Philippines to the exclusion of all other courts and herby waive any and all objections to the exercise of jurisdiction over the parties bys such courts on any ground.

However, nothing herein shall prohibit the Hotel from seeking in injunctive relief (or any other provisional remedy) from any court having jurisdiction over you or taking proceedings against you in any other court of competent jurisdiction.


21. DISCLAIMER

All information contained in this website is meant for reference only.  The Hotel will make every effort to ensure precision with the information  in the website. However, the Hotel shall not be liable for any inaccuracies, errors in transmission, omissions, or delays in the content, or for any actions taken in relied therein.

By proceeding with the reservation, you further agree and acknowledge that if the reservation is accepted by the Hotel, your stay subsequently shall be subject to the Hotel's standard terms and conditions of stay.


22. CHANGES TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The Hotel reserves the right to amend its policies, rules and regulations, Terms and Conditions, and any content on this website without prior notice.


23. COMPLAINTS OR COMMENTS

The Company is having much regard to your satisfaction very seriously. Any complaint or comment regarding your stay can be addressed to the senior member of our management so that we can attempt to resolve it immediately.
